Have you met with your field agent this year?
The Most Reverend Roger L. Kaffer
It is with Extreme Sadness that I advise you that our Beloved State Chaplain, His Excellency the Most Reverend Roger L. Kaffer, has passed away. Our Lord called Brother Roger home May 28th at about 3:45 p.m. He died peacefully with his Brother Bob and Bishop Peter Sartain at his side.
The arrangements are not yet complete and will be forthcoming as soon as I receive them from the Chancery. Please remember the Bishop and his Family in your prayers. As of now Sympathy and Condolences can be sent to the Diocese of Joliet Chancery.
I know it is a sad time for all of us, but we should remember with Great Joy the wonderful time we had with this Great Man and thank you God for having him sent to be with The Knights of Columbus in Illinois!
Anyone who is interested in serving in the Honor Guard for State Chaplain, Bishop Kaffer, should contact the Faithful Navigator of the Joliet Assembly, Frank Schwarts, Jr. at (815) 436-0761 or fjschwartzjr@ameritech.net
